Built for B.C. Interior businesses ready to export with confidence

If you run a business in the B.C. Interior, you know growth doesn’t always come easy. Distance from major ports, rising costs, evolving tariffs, and reliance on a limited number of markets can all constrain opportunity. The Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) is designed to help Interior-based SMEs overcome those barriers and expand successfully into global markets.

TAP is a practical, 5-day export development program that helps you diversify beyond domestic or U.S.-focused sales, reduce trade risk, and unlock new international revenue streams, while staying rooted in the Interior.

Since 2017, World Trade Centre Vancouver has delivered TAP to over 600 B.C. companies, helping businesses from manufacturing, agri-food, technology, natural resources, and services build stronger export strategies and long-term resilience.

In a time of shifting trade policies and increasing tariff exposure, export diversification isn’t just growth, it’s risk management.

    Proven results for B.C. companies

Just six months after graduating the program:

    • Average export revenue increased by 23%
