OFFSITE - Making Space To Lead

In the fast-paced world of startups, founders and CEOs are often consumed by urgent, endless decisions, back-to-back conversations, and mounting to-do lists. What rarely gets space is reflection. OFFSITE is your opportunity to step away, press pause, and re-center on what matters most.

This tailored half-day session is designed specifically for growth-stage founders and CEOs who are ready to dig deep into their own leadership development. Led by Ian Chisholm and Yolanda Moran, renowned Roy Group coaches with decades of experience guiding senior leaders, this session draws on powerful, field-tested leadership practices that are immediately applicable in high-growth environments. These are not abstract theories, they are tools and perspectives that help you slow your thinking without slowing your momentum.

You’ll also hear from Dr. Ray Muzyka, the co-founder of BioWare, in an intimate fireside conversation about navigating leadership and sustaining purpose across multiple careers.

    What You’ll Walk Away With

    • A set of practical, proven tools to lead with clarity and intention
    • Dedicated space to reflect on who you are as a leader—not just the next ‘to do’
    • Language and frameworks to help your team grow alongside you
    • Honest peer conversations with leaders facing similar challenges

    About Ian Chisholm

Ian Chisholm co-founded Roy Group in 2004 with the intent of making the statement ‘Ex Eximio Eximia: From your finest self comes your finest contribution.’ his own life’s work — and a vehicle for assisting others to find theirs. His greatest fulfillment comes from seeing the multiplier effect that is achieved when honourable people from all walks of life invite each other into leadership. Ian is a well-known coaching practitioner, social entrepreneur and pioneer of executive education in Europe, where he guided the challenging operational startup of the award-winning Columba 1400: Community and International Leadership Centre on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. Prior to Skye, Ian served as the director of programs for Operation Enterprise, a division of American Management Association International headquartered in New York City, where he played an integral role in pioneering an initiative to bring young talent from innercity USA to experience a regime of formal leadership development.

    About Yolanda Moran

Yolanda Moran brings over 20 years of operational leadership experience and a depth of organizational understanding for leading growth and transformational change. As VP of Retail Operations for Flight Centre Canada, Yolanda drove the profitable growth of a $750M leisure travel business, oversaw 160+ locations with 900+ employees, and headed up brand marketing and online strategy. Yolanda brings a keen sense of empathy and a passion for supporting others in developing their leadership practice.
