Tom Dyas, Board President, thanked the returning directors for continuing on the board for the coming year.  “I congratulate our four re-elected directors,” said Dyas.  “And I especially congratulate our two newly-elected directors, Ron Cannan, and Domenic Rampone, both of whom have long resumes attesting to their many contributions to the community,” said Dyas.

“I also want to thank those members who stood for election as director, and who did not secure a seat at our Directors’ table this year.  The degree of interest in volunteering for our business organization was very gratifying.  We hope that these individuals will join us on one of our committees, and help us fulfill the role of the local Chamber as the ‘Voice of Business’ in Kelowna and the valley,” Dyas said.  “Thank you as well to all our members who voted in this important annual event.”

“We have a stable and experienced board moving forward,” said Dyas.  “This is important for any organization, and for a business organization with a volunteer board, it is always a critical part of strategic planning and success.”
